Amazon, the exclusive online partner for Micromax's Yu Yureka, has announced the 'Golden Ticket' sale on Wednesday for select customers.
The sale on Wednesday is meant for "customers who showed interest to buy the YuYureka" earlier but were unable to avail the product due to outstripping supply. The 'Golden Ticket' sale for Micromax's Yu Yureka on Wednesday will be held between 2pm and 5pm IST.
The online retailer in a press statement has detailed that only registered customers who were unable buy the handset will be eligible to participate in Wednesday's sale and will receive an email from Amazon.in confirming their access to the sale.
The company also confirmed that the sixth sale for the Yureka smartphone will happen on Thursday as earlier planned. Notably, the company is yet to reveal the number of units going up for grabs in the next sale.
Along the lines of the 'Golden Ticket' sale, Amazon.in last month announced a limited sale for "impacted customers." The sale was meant for "contest winners and impacted customers" that had earlier booked the handset but were unable to avail the product due to certain issues.
The last Yu Yureka sale saw 25,000 units made available that went out of stock in 4 seconds. The fourth flash sale saw 15,000 units of the Yureka smartphone going out of stock in 4 seconds, much like the last sale. Meanwhile the third flash sale of saw 10,000 smartphones going out of stock in 3 seconds.
Earlier this month, Micromax's Yu Yureka started receiving its first OTA (over-the-air) update that brought bug fixes. Notably, it was an incremental update and added security fixes, improvements for proximity sensor and dual-SIM functionality.
