If you are a Micromax Canvas mobile user, then it seems that you are just getting lucky enough with Micromax releasing the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop updates.
The Indian mobile manufacturer has announced recently that the Lollipop updates will be rolled out over-the-air to almost all its Canvas series smartphones.
However, the Canvas Xpress A99 users seem to have already received the latest updates.
This step by the company will surely increase the overall user experience.
User will get an update notification on their handset when they connect it to internet and they need to follow some simple steps to get their OS updated.
Users can also check manually for the upgrade by going to the Settings menu, tapping on 'about phone' and then on 'software update.'
It's not clear which other Canvas series phones will be upgraded to Lollipop. Micromax has also not announced a definite timeframe for the roll out.
The move comes soon after other players announced Lollipop update for their budget devices or unveiled new devices.
