According to reports out on the Web, the Motorola is all set to make an "exciting announcement" later this month. The Lenovo-owned company will reportedly be sending an invitation mystery box to some media houses this Wednesday.
A teaser on Friday read (via 9to5google) , "Motorola is making an exciting announcement next week and wants you to be in the front row. The best part? You get to choose where and when you'd like to experience it. Everything you need fits inside one box, which we will deliver to your doorstep on Wednesday."
As yet there is no word on what is scheduled to launch by Motorola this week. Thus far only the Moto E 4G smartphone is tipped to arrive soon. It is possible that the company may also launch the next-generation Moto 360 smartwatch, but for more hints we will need to wait for the mystery box to arrive this week.
To remind you, MWC is scheduled for next week - March 2 to March 5 - while the upcoming Motorola product is being speculated to be launched by March 1.
Meanwhile in India, the company will soon launch its high-end Moto Maxx via its exclusive online retail partner, Flipkart. Unfortunately, there is no exact date of launch as yet.
Motorola had first launched the Moto Maxx smartphone in Brazil in November as the global variant of the Droid Turbo that is exclusive to US mobile carrier Verizon. It was priced at BRL 2,199 (approximately Rs. 48,000) for the 64GB model. What do you think about the Moto Maxx in the comments section. At what price would you find it an attractive proposition in the Indian market?
