With an aim of capturing the customers with advanced mobile phones at reasonable prices Mitashi, best known for its DVD players and television sets, has come up with an Android device; a phablet dubbed as Duo King AP 105 in India at Rs. 7,499.
Though the handset is listed on the company’s official website at Rs. 9,490, Mitashi has come up with an exclusive deal jointly with Amazon where the device is available at a discounted price of Rs. 7,090.
Boasting a 6-inch display, the phablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat like many other entry level smartphones. The dual-SIM supporting mobile phone supports 3G connectivity and also features FM Radio, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and Micro-USB options.
The phablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, which has become a standard among the budget smartphones also comes with the Duo King AP 105.
However, it seems that the mobile is likely to be a big disappointment among the selfie lovers due to the 0.3-megapixel front facing camera.
Rest, the Mitashi Duo King AP 105 comes with an 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Also, the battery of the phone seems to be perfectly fine just like the other mid-range smartphones.
On a concluding note, though the mobile comes with some great specifications and a larger display at a pocket friendly price, the device may face stiff competition from those devices that come with a better front facing camera.
